gay penguins, no kidding a'tall.
So apparently two male penguins are a couple at a zoo in China, and apparently they wish to be parents.
Of course they can't reproduce biologically, being two males and mammals and all, so they've taken to stealing the eggs of their heterosexual penguin comrades, and replacing the eggs with stones. umph. *chuckle*
What can we conclude about this?
I think that the only real conclusion to be made is that penguins are tricky creatures and cannot be trusted. According to the Telegraph (a British newspaper.) where I read about said penguins, homosexual penguins have been known to mate for years with the same partner, and to refuse to mate with penguins of the opposite sex, even when separated from their partners.
The world is an interesting place.
And I, loveliests, am a tired cat this evening. There is so much more to say. But it's going to have to remain unsaid.
