a friend of mine wrote a tweet today that said, "dear santa, all i want for christmas is more time." i re~tweeted, "YES! me too, santa." ~ sometimes the feeling of not enough time overwhelms me. i sit here, looking @ my computer, completely stressed out feeling like ive a million & one things to do & not enough time & a table full of blank pages are looking @ me. it is always this way w/ time. i know this.
when i get it done, there will bee more on my list to get done. especially @ this time of year it seems there is even more time pressure against time. my work this month is to make friends w/ the never ending to~do list. to start to feel comfortable w/ it. to do what i can & let go of the rest until the next day, or the next. my work is to really trust the right timing of everything. which means, what doesnt get done just has different timing. ah. that thought is so much more peaceful. & peace is good.
oh my. yes. evil time! dyche is so exactly the same, the list is never done because we always add new things but mostly they are things we both love to do. so i try to remind myself of that.
we love the idea of the right timing & its true, it almost all always works out in the end. ive felt buried by everything in the past few weeks; i cant seem to find the bottom or the pile. i needed a reminder to stop, breathe & enjoy the journey. so im taking things a little bit @ a time this holiday season. of course, the panic sets in & i find myself saying, "go away." then i just stop. so nice. @ least for today.
ah. wishing all ubdians & bruneians happy holiday & happy new hijrah 1432.
