things seem to ‘serene’.

this admitted night owl has recently been up before sunrise. the beauty of dawn is truly breathtaking. it can be a beautiful cup of coffee, a sleepy little bedhead or how the light pours into a room. but nope, nope, nope. not a morning person. but i’ve vowed to at least a few times in two thousand ten to rise before the sun with my cam around my neck.
i got up before my usual time to drive NH’ to airport yesterday. ps : i’m not a morning person as you all know. little nephews acted WHACKY in the long car ride. like i fed them coco puffs with choc syrup & whipped cream for breakfast whacky ... returned home. then back in an hour or two to take teens to ‘funtown’.
then proceeded to drag myself & whacky nieces to the grocery store only to notice Z’ left his shoes at home. logical. so he had to ride in the shopping cart & was not happy about that one bit. drove home with car full of groceries. parked car in garage. opened trunk. only then did i see the disaster that awaited me.
1 jumbo size laundry detergent had fallen over & the lid holding all 120 fl ounces of said detergent had come OFF. emptying its contents all over the back portion of maaa’s car. it was a giant blue pool of arm & hammer with oxi-clean mess. & what was swimming in that pool. oh yeah, my groceries. ah pickles.
one of those days i really needed a do over. & a beer. i got neither. & perhaps today will have to rock. just make sure i’ve beer around just in case.
