annual christmas mood setting day in late december.

does it make you want to take a walk with me. trespass a little & leave our footprints in the snow. does it make you want to take snaps with me while our fingers freeze & our noses turn red. does it make you want to lay down in the whiteness with me.

we wave our arms wildly up & down & our legs side to side & leave behind what we believe are perfect snow angels. does it make you want to sit beside the fire with me while our wet clothes dry & hot chocolate warms our hearts while we talk about our dreams. i thought maybe it did.

december 24th,

the best photo shoot ever, that is. the little boy was so sweet & somehow managed to keep a smile on his face the entire afternoon & gosh, was he ever great at winking.

the maaa oh she was a fancy maaa. a bit stiff but fancy. the gloves, the jewelry, the attitude & wow she worked the cam like a pro.

the daddy was very quiet. hardly moving at all during the shoot & lacking a bit in the smile hotel but he hung in there. at first he was a bit overdressed but quickly decided, the top hat, the bow tie & the umbrella were all part of his icy charm.

right before the end of our shoot. the little boy was busy waving at the birds. daddy loosened up a bit. maaa joined in & they showed me some of the moves they recently learned while watching so you think you can dance.
