there are more & more finger & nose prints on my window. i don't see how they can all have come from me. little smudges like bear kisses. maybe my grizzly bear has been trying to kiss the snowflakes last night.

you know that feeling you get after you have stared into the sun for too long & your eyelashes turn into beads of glitter glue & dewdrops & tiny gold horse hairs? then you can see dust trails dancing around within the rays. i like to think they are fairy dust or babies tears. what do you like to think they are?

these past few nights i have been reading my aesops fables & learning about apollo & daphne & echo & narcissus. with porridge for supper & honey & toast for tea & pine cones in your tea-cups.

i took a little walk to the park & woods with peter rabbit buttons in my pocket. there were holly trees as tall as giants & my, didn't they look elegant against the sunset. i got raisin & little mud stains all over my new coat & mommy wasn't best pleased when i turned up to the little fireworks night looking like i had been playing pooh sticks & climbing tree's all afternoon.

bailey & madison were grizzly lions for bonfire night & ashley-jack has learnt how to smile.
