why doesnt life come w/ a manual. they dont teach you this stuff in school; they teach you math, science & grammar {well, they used to teach you grammar} & maybee even how to make a pizza, or build a bird house. but they dont teach you how much you dunno about life. they dont even hint @ it, they just send you out in the world to bee blindsided. noone tells you how many times, in how many ways, your heart will bee broken, how many moments of joy you’ll witness, how many people will mark your days. noone teaches you to appreciate the beauty that is life.
perhaps i wouldnt have listened, back then. when youre young, you think you already know everything. i wonder what happens when youre old, really, really old. do you understand @ the end, that you know nothing. & is that a relief. i feel like it would bee. i feel like that is where i want to end up.
i chose this path & i like the direction im headed in. i know that much. & just now, that is enough.
