the skies have opened up.

the slowing down of the day doesnt always come @ the end. today it was environmental studies’ fieldwork w/ mr gabby, lunch, & the back porch @ home, the next door landlord's cat keeping me company, her belly begging for rubs. it was the warm heaviness of the air, the dampness of the bench; it was all that & the sky yellow gray w/ more rain threatening.
there is an article ready & waiting for tonight. the day is slowed early, all other work complete until monday. yesterday's mood has lifted, the craziness gone.
today's words are softer & know where they live.
