the lovely maaa made homemade salsa. how could she not, w/ the beautiful tomatoes in season. the corns & tomatoes will soon make room for yams & collards. oh. the seasons are changing. the warm weather is deceiving. the calendar reminds me, “summer” seems to bee packing its bags. sighs.
there was conversation w/ laughter & understanding flanked by me & lovely maaa. there was a comfort @ that table over coffee, a comfort that fed my soul. we, women tend to do that, for one another. life is good. it means the absolute world to me.
when i saw this butterfly on tv, it painted a daffodil yellow across my thoughts, which brought me to the beauty of “in time of daffodils”. indeed life is blessed.
