all ii had was my little point & shoot.

i wish i had something poetic to share w/ all of you today but i dont think i’d, instead we can talk if you want to. “summer” has grip on us & the humidity is making me turn the air~conditioning on more than i’d like to. im really not complaining. the days are incredibly long. oh weather is as weather does, i suppose.
& for some reason its easier to stay up late & feel alright, but when the morning rolls around & the sun is reaching through my window tickling me, begging me to get up & play, i turn away & snuggle deeper into my pillow. wanting to stay a bit longer. not to sleep. but just to think.
moments later, i can hear the tinkling of ice in lemonade glasses & the shuffle of dominoes by leathery hands of two gentlemen; sipping warm whiskey. then i came & joined the club.
oh. wont you add a talk pitcher of fresh squeezed lemonade & i’ll sit w/ you. definitely worth turning around for. no caffeine boosts, please.
