two dates in one day with j~rock.

jason has the day off. not by choice. business has been slow where he works (he works at his daddy’s company. like, wow!}, so hours have been cut again. but there's an upside for me. he's meeting me for lunch.
he has been enjoying hunting down some vintage vinyl recordings that he's wanted for a while. so he has been hitting all the record stores in gadong & kiulap areas. knowing of one that is close to his work, he thought he would take a drive out there && visit me for lunch as long as he is in the area.
after he saw my excitement, his exact words were, "you know i'm not going out there just for lunch, right? it was just an afterthought. but you're more important than my original thought."
i'll take it! i can tell you right now ... it's going to be the highlight of my day. see you soon, j~rock!
just as i was finishing up this post, he walked up & asked if i want to watch some dvds tonight. we're going to watch the brothers bloom. two dates in one day! how did i get so lucky. some days are just full of delightful surprises. i think this is one of those days.
