a time of stillness.

hey there. how have you been. my week has been a whirlwind so far. i want to slow down & watch this stillness. it seems as though, i'm welcoming the stillness, that has found me. my body says rest & i listen with, compassionate ears. i’m good. so very good.
i’m enjoying the beauty of ~ just being. smiling at how tears form in my eyes when i watch a sad movie. life in slow, slow motion. sometimes i just need to wrap myself in a blanket of quietness & not think but just be.
now i'll just finish my to~do's for the day. but come to think about it, “be still sweet one, you too need a break.” & so i say.
