there are photos of homes from, fischers island, martha's vineyard, the grenadines, spring island & more. are you calling my name. have i ever told you, my heart longs for a place to call home. i suppose that is another story, for a different day, non.
sunday finds me with a coffee press, this book & a moment of stillness. i dig that.
this weekend was filled with, the most beautiful spicy thai fried rice with shrimp & combination pad thai. oh. this is so mouth~watering ... i shared a glass of plum wine, with amanda {this time}, that made me swoon. oh, yes it did. count me in.
i don't know which i would enjoy more, the book or that lovely dinner with amanda. wait ... of course i know, the dinner, but the book will be devoured the next day.
she could make me a pb&j sandwich & i would have the time of my life. then amanda would read a bit of poetry, while i was visiting, right. i think i would like to make her these dishes, on a chilly night. & if it were a ‘summer’ night, we could take the wok to the grill & send the ‘most amazing’ aromas into the ‘summers’ sky, swirled with our laughter of friendship, that would add light to the stars.
oh the wine & the moon light would be divine. & we could sit under the stars & share the wonderful aromas of thai food cooking on the grill. perfection in my mind. wine, spices, stars & moon light & friendship. toast!

sometimes there is a hand we don't see, helping nudge us towards those little accidents that end up touching our souls.
