i think i’m going to give the 365 thing a go.

well the good news folks ~ i’ve survived two thousand nine & my first semester. what a ‘terrific’ way to look back at the past year. it was because of you that i learned. & it's ‘funny’ looking back at it this way ~ has on only been this year that i learned about pain, the ‘beautiful’ of soreness & the ‘wonderful’ ache can bring. it also appears that i'm rather fond of diagonal ‘act as if~s’, the close~up instead of the faraway & a lot of blue.

some past years come along all prickly or crooked or a few sizes too small or just kind of smelly & it was easy to get lost at the crossroads where i felt the need to look both ways & question so any things before me but not this year. this year there is now say i’m turning my back on what’s in front of me or even sticking my finger cautiously into it just to take a taste of it like frosting on a cupcake. nope. this year i’m eating the whole thing wrapper & all.

for some of us, it was by the skin of our teeth & it looked bleak for a while but, most folks would say that a day you can wake up to is better than the alternative. i'm sure we all may argue that at one time or another so ... just saying. so, following that logic ~ a new year that you can wake up to must be even better. ehhh, we will see how it holds out. & they say that whatever you’re doing at midnight on 01/01 will follow you through the year.

me ~ i was on the top of a parking deck downtown watching fireworks. i'm not sure how that translates but i was with people that i love, so i will hold on to that part.

well, i for one am glad that ji jae is playing too. 365 is a long time. yay. glad he’s doing a 365 project. it's a neat little project. ji jae & his little brother a follower for sure. all good stuff. day one has been good. day two, too. ps : i will be their cheerleader for the 365 project with pom poms & jumps because i just don't think i can do the 365, without banging my head up against the wall at some point last ‘winter’ when i can't get out to shoot & believe me, i can only take so many indoor photos before my head explodes.
