a message for you.

brings me right back to the ground.

all of a sudden my very private personal life is out for everyone to see, all while i’m trying to hear my own voice & path. i feel like when you go through something scary & bold like separating from a long-term partner, you hold up a mirror to others forcing them to look at their own relationships & needs, etc. a very slippery slope, i tell you. even when outside intentions are good, there needs to be a sacred place to be where you need to be without interruptions.
i’m not letting the dream-stealers get me down. my dreams remind them of their own lost dreams that may not have worked out as planned. my joy may trigger their bitterness. watch out for these types, but by all means, keep making joy.
no matter how many times it has been done before, no one can do exactly what you do the way i do it. no one can ever be me. judgments are for cranky pants who have nothing better to do.
anyways, i’ll be off to halloween party tonight. i like to party, party. love to party, party. make a wild guess who’s coming along with me? smile. i gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good, good night.
