the wedding i went to last night was so beautiful. just small & intimate with about twenty guests. the ceremony was held at the couple's house, they had some long white candles in simple, elegant silver candle holders & rose petals scattered on the floor. they exchanged vows that they had written themselves & with only close friends & family present, they created an atmosphere of incredible warmth & intimacy.
they've been together for ever & ever & it's so amazing that they're finally tying the knot. somehow they end up being more real & meaningful.
standing there, my heart seemed to swell in my chest & i experienced one of those magical moments when you feel real love, truth & honesty & you almost want to burst into tears from the beauty of it all.
i saw one of your snaps on facebook & you were in red. i wish i was there, sitting on the couch beside you, in red dress too. instead my heart shattered watching you in that photo cause’ you were nowhere near me. too tired to think clearly cause’ knowing you’re out there – breathing so wonderful & it’s written on your face. & where i am going is anybody’s guess but would it matter anyway.
